Amendments

Here are some significant changes from the last game or stuff to keep in mind.
  1. The Priest is always in Sanctuary. I won't announce his name in the blog, but if everyone votes for him, nothing happens.
  2. The Dungeon Master always has Giant/Town Drunk protection (i.e. he's always in the Dungeon but he can still vote and talk).
  3. The Key Maker always has their own protection.
  4. The Apothecary is giving two potions per night. Also, there's no option of water being given out. That was lame.
  5. In addition to the Innocent's powers from before, note that if they are killed at night, the townspeople vote off two people that day.
  6. I've changed the Diseased so that if they're ever targeted at night, the person who targeted them is bedridden the next day. This was changed from if they were killed.
As always, there hypothetical situations I don't foresee and rules need to be made should they come up or because they have come up. This page will list other amendments to the rulebook.

  1. The Angel's power also saves from the Town Drunk since they attack every night like the werewolves. However, if a person with angelic protection is attacked by werewolves and the Town Drunk in a single night, they die.
  2. Since the Apothecary, Grave Robber, Hypnotist, Key Maker, and Wizard all have roles that could potentially trump each other, I'll apply the logic in the order that I receive their names. So for example, say the Hypnotist tells me at 10:00 that they want to hypnotize John, who happens to be the Apothecary. Then the Key Maker tells me at 10:15 that they want to lock John in their home (meaning he can't be targeted). John is still hypnotized because I got the information from the Hypnotist first. If the next night, the Key Maker tells me at 9:30 that they want to hypnotize Steve and then at 10:00 the Hypnotist wants to hypnotize Steve, I'll tell them they can't because they're locked in their home. So these roles all have equal power in trumping each other—they just have to send me their names early in order to do so.
  3. If the Handsome is hypnotized, their charm still affects people.
