Bang

Paul's alarm clock went off. He instinctively turned it off and got up. The light was already starting to shine through the window, so he looked out. What a beautiful day, he though. It's sunny, everything is green from the spring, and it looks great!

He got ready for the morning and stepped outside. But then…
"31 freaking degrees out? WHAT THE HECK!"
Not going to be a good day, he thought.

Somewhere close by meanwhile, three people were huddled together.
"Okay guys," said Matt, "that's the plan. Any questions?"
"Nope," said Alex.
"I'm good," said Masin.
The three of them set off. Though they all drove their by car, they left in different vehicles. Alex had somehow gotten ahold of a Mazda RX7 with a machine gun attached to it. Masin got the engines fired up on his rental helicopter. Finally, Matt climbed up and jumped into his tank. No one bothered asking where the others got theirs.

Paul was still home, running a little late. After discovering the frigid cold, he went back inside to get any sort of warm clothing he had. A few minutes later, he had found a ski mask, a scarf his grandmother knitted for him, a down jacket and a trench coat, long johns, snow pants, several pairs of wool socks, and heavy boots. He wasn't going to take any chances with this weather. It sure wasn't this cold in California, he thought. He was just pulling on his third pair of gloves when he heard a booming voice.
"We've got you surrounded, Paul! Come out with your hands up or we'll blow you to smithereens!"
Masin was yelling over an enormous megaphone as he hovered over Paul's apartment shining a 2 million watt spotlight on him. Matt was parked 10 feet from the front door, his missiles ready, and Alex was idling nearby.

Paul froze. Not literally—he had made sure that wasn't going to happen today—but more like stopped in his tracks. He was surrounded. What was he going to do?

Inside his tank, Matt was watching the monitors. He could see the outside of Paul's apartment, but nothing more. Paul was taking his sweet time, wasn't he? His eyes moved towards his Cupid's bow and his library of books that had made him wise like an Elder. Those won't be much good anymore, he thought.

Alex, meanwhile was revving the engine here and there. She, too, had all sorts of fancy equipment and monitors to keep an eye on Paul. Her monitor showed where the heat was nearby, and she could see a red human-shaped figure of Paul moving around inside. She wasn't really sure what he was doing. She took off her Priest's necklace and put it in the glove compartment. Don't want anything to get in the way right now, she thought.

Masin, 50 feet in the air, was also wondering what was going on. He pulled out a mirror and made sure his hair was all right today. It's not easy maintaing such good looks and being so Handsome. Especially with all the—

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Paul burst through his living room window. As if in slow motion, everyone saw the scene unfold: flying through the window at breakneck speed, there was Paul, fully transformed into werewolf form, flying through the window on a motorcycle as shattered glass flew everywhere. To top it off, the entire apartment exploded into a giant fireball. No one was really sure how Paul managed to pull all that off so quickly.

Time sped back up and people suddenly became aware of just what was going on. Paul, having gotten a significant jump through that window, landed on Matt's tank, used it as another ramp, and flew 50 feet into the air and headed for the highway. Though Matt was too big and clunky to chase after him, Masin could keep a lookout from above, and Alex, engines roaring, was already catching up to him.

So the chase began. Paul, adrenaline pumping, took no chances. He was swerving this way and that way, through parking lots, cutting across parks, tearing up people's lawns. Alex was hot on his tail the entire time. Masin couldn't keep up with all the turning, but he was able to keep eyes on him.

Luckily, the city was still basically shut down, so no other cars or people were in the way. It wouldn't've stopped Paul though. He was driving his motorcycle like a maniac, trying to get away from his pursuers. Masin did manage to take a shot at him at some point with his missile launcher, but as it his Paul, and Angelic glow circled him.
"Out of all the people to be an Angel, it had to be a werewolf too!" said Masin.
"Try to get another shot at him," said Alex. "He only survives one hit at night!"
But Paul was well aware his protection was gone, so he did what he could to avoid the helicopter again. He managed to find a windy road, covered in tall trees so Masin couldn't get eyes on him. Alex was right behind him the whole way though.

Paul accelerated as he tore past the trees. 100…120…150mph! There was no stopping him. He entered a tunnel so long he couldn't see the end.

Alex, however, took advantage of the hard walls of the tunnel and started shooting at Paul with her machine gun. He wasn't going to make it past this one. Paul now had to dodge bullets ricocheting in all directions.

At last, the end of the tunnel was in sight. If only he could just clear it.

Just then, the semicircular light was being filled. Matt came out of no where and parked the tank at the end of the tunnel, his guns pointing directly at Paul.

He fired.

It was a direct hit. Paul flew off his motorcycle straight backward. Alex didn't have enough time to turn around and was hit by flaming shards of motorcycle. Paul slammed into her windshield. She instinctively slammed on the breaks as the airbags deployed.

She came to a stop in front of Matt's tank. He suddenly climbed out and ran to help Alex. Had he known she was in the tunnel, he wouldn't've fired the shot. Masin landed nearby and they both put out the fires. When the smoke cleared, the two of them saw that Paul was clearly not going to make it. What they hadn't realized was that he was a Giant, and when he was hit, fell backward and landed on Alex. They certainly didn't expect a casualty from this attack.

The werewolves have been eradicated! The townspeople win! Though they had taken a toll, they were ready to return to their normal lives again.

Game over! Thanks for playing everybody! Hopefully we can start again next Monday for another exciting adventure of werewolf!
