Don't Drink and Drive

"So after the midget shows us the oompa-loompa dance we'll have the pie eating contest?"

"No, that's when we bring out the sandboxes and we build sand castles."

"Oh, that's right…"

Riley and Susie were just starting a planning meeting for the ward prom. The couples have been paired off, the food was planned, and now they were working on activities throughout the dance. And so far, all the ideas were really good, they thought.

"So you're sure there's enough cake to start a food fight at the end? I've always felt that would be a great way to end the night with a bang."

"Oh, yes. We've got plent—oh, hold on a second, I'm getting a phone call," said Riley. "It's Bishop Wheadon." Riley answered the phone. Susie could tell right a away from Riley's reaction that something was not good at all. After the phone call, Riley put his phone away with trembling hands.

"What's wrong??" Susie asked.

"It's Amanda," he said, with difficulty. "She was on her way home from campus a little while ago and was killed by a drunk driver. And then after she was hit, her car flew off a bridge and crushed Andrew, who was walking below." Amanda was always known for being tall. "The drunk driver got away unharmed," he finished.

But Susie didn't know what to say. What a tragedy! But before she could even react, Riley was having a hard time breathing. In a few moments, Riley was on the ground, unconscious, having lost the will to continue with planning prom now that one of his committee chairs had been killed. It didn't help that he was madly in love with Amanda too. Meanwhile, Susie wasn't doing so well either. These past six months had been glorious working alongside and planning activities with Riley, with whom she too was madly in love. Seeing him die in front of her eyes, even if it was because of another woman, was too much for her to bear, and she promptly died.

Meanwhile, the commotion of such a chain reaction of deaths, caused by a single drunk driver, distracted a lot of people. Most of the police officers in Utah Valley were investigating the scene. The werewolves knew this, and took advantage of the opportunity of having a cop-free UVU campus. Michelle was attacked by werewolves in plain sight of lots of people, but the cops couldn't get there in time because of all the traffic on University. It was a sad day for Park Plaza indeed.
